Wellbeing to Sleep Well Event Celebration

Jul 16, 2026

The Lincolnshire Sleep Hub, celebrated another fantastic milestone with the hugely successful Wellbeing to Sleep Well event at The Storehouse, Skegness.

The Lincolnshire Sleep Hub supports adults across the county to improve their sleep through education, community engagement and the development of a network of Sleep Talkers. The event was an opportunity to celebrate that journey while introducing more people to the connection between wellbeing and healthy sleep.

With over 80 people attending throughout the day. It was inspiring to see so many people taking time out to focus on wellbeing, connection with others and discover practical ways to support healthier sleep.

50 attendees received a complimentary Sleep Support Goody Bag

Each bag was filled with products and resources to continue a wellbeing journey at home. Including a selection of thoughtful items such as an eye mask, a lavender eye pillow, sleep support information skincare products, a soap bar provided by Sophie at SALT  and sleepy tea bags provided by —all carefully chosen to encourage relaxation and promote better sleep.

Throughout the day there was something for everyone to enjoy. Visitors embraced a variety of activities to relax both mind and body. Many experienced the wonderful wood-fired sauna provided by Zoky Saunascape, taking time to unwind and enjoy a moment of calm. Others enjoyed trying something completely different by joining in with hula hooping or taking part in drumming sessions from our friends and partners SoundLincs. The venue was alive with energy, rhythm and laughter.

Creative activities were also available, giving people the opportunity to slow down, be mindful and simply enjoy making something with their hands while chatting with others.

One of the highlights of the event was a beautiful mindfulness session led by Sarah from Positive Life . Participants were guided through a mindful walk to the nearby beach. Observing sights, sounds, textures and natural elements around. The session encouraged everyone to pause, breathe and reconnect with the moment, demonstrating how simple mindful practices can have a positive impact on wellbeing and sleep. Sarah also held space for a guided yoga nidra session to give a feeling of complete restoration and support. Yoga Nidra is especially valuable should you struggle to reach restorative sleep. Making use of a recording in everyday life can proove beneficial in supporting sleep and healthy life balance. There is a yoga nidra recording on our resources page plus many more available to download across the internet.

The atmosphere throughout the day was warm, welcoming and uplifting.

Conversations were shared over refreshments, new friendships formed and many people left feeling inspired to make small, positive changes to improve both their wellbeing and their sleep.

Events like Wellbeing to Sleep Well demonstrate that supporting sleep goes far beyond what happens at bedtime. Looking after our physical health, mental wellbeing, social connections and daily habits all contribute to achieving better rest and living healthier, happier lives.

A huge thank you goes to everyone involved, volunteers, activity leaders, partner organisations and everyone who helped make the day such a memorable success. Together, we have shown just how much can be achieved when a community comes together.

We look forward to continuing our work, helping more people discover that wellbeing really does lead to better sleep.
