It’s Carers week 8th June
Here at the Lincolnshire Sleep Hub we recognise how important our carers are, providing essential support to family members, friends, and loved ones, often putting the needs of others before their own. While caring can be rewarding, it can also have a significant impact on physical health, emotional wellbeing, and sleep. That is why we have spent time promoting carers and supporting their sleep.
At Lincolnshire Sleep Hub, we understand that restorative sleep is essential for maintaining health, resilience, and wellbeing. Many carers experience disrupted sleep due to nighttime responsibilities, stress, anxiety, and exhaustion. Poor sleep can contribute to burnout, reduced concentration, low mood, and long-term health issues, making it even harder to provide the care that loved ones rely upon.

Explore our Webinar Series
I am really proud of our webinar series presented in most part by Steering Group member Louise Rogerson who is a dedicated and talented Physiotherapist, Allied Health Professional Lead, Levitex Posture Care lead. Louise has a special interest in sleep posture. She has created some fabulous webinars and they can be viewed on our website. They offer support and practical advice around many subjects from sleep posture, bladder control who doesn’t want to know how to not get up numerous times in the night to visit the toilet? And also moving in bed both as a carer. My favourites are A cheats guide to a good night sleep – Carers are you lying comfortably and also A cheats guide to a good nights sleep – Managing your bladder. Check them out you won’t regret it.
